1 Induction heating equipment selection method is as follows

 

1) Shape and size of the workpiece to be heated

The workpiece is large, the bar material, the solid material, should choose the induction heating equipment with high relative power and low frequency

The workpiece is small, pipe, plate, gear, etc., the relative power is small, the frequency is high induction heating equipment.

 

2) The depth and area to be heated

Heating depth is deep, the area is large, the whole heating, should choose the induction heating equipment with large power and low frequency;

Shallow heating depth, small area, local heating, the selection of small relative power, high frequency induction heating equipment.

 

3）The required rate of heating

The heating speed is fast, and the induction heating equipment with relatively large power and relatively high frequency should be selected.

 

4）The continuous working time of the equipment

Continuous working time is long, the relative selection of slightly larger power induction heating equipment.

 

5）The connection distance between the induction load and the equipment

The resonance line is long and even needs to be connected by water-cooled cable. Induction heating equipment with larger power should be selected relatively.

 

6) Process requirements

Generally speaking, quenching, welding and other processes can be relatively small power selection, frequency selection is higher;

Annealing, tempering and other processes, the relative power selection is larger, frequency selection is lower;

 Hot forging, melting, etc., need good diathermy effect, so the power should be selected more, the frequency should be selected less.

 

7）Workpiece Material

In metal materials, the material with high melting point relatively chooses the equipment with large power, and the material with low melting point relatively chooses the equipment with small power;

The material resistivity is small, choose the equipment with larger power, the material resistivity is large, choose the equipment with smaller power
